Shopping Excursion

I am very proud of myself. I went to Plain Jane’s and bought the yardage for my mom’s bag. I also bought the new charm pack called Fresh Air by Chez Moi for Moda. It’s similar to the fabric used in my charm bag except a little more muted colors.  Then, because they were getting ready to close I left but also decided to stop off at Memories by the Yard which is my other favorite fabric store and also on my way home (two for the price of one!).  While there I purchased four fat quarters that are in fall colors and reflect those beautiful reds, oranges and yellows of the fall that we completely lack down here in South Texas. I figured I can use them for a fall/autumn wall hanging or something.  I wanted to make a neat appliqued wool project but couldn’t find any wool that I liked.  Oh well, maybe on my next visit to Creations in Kerrville. Just thought I would give an update. Now I have very little excuse for not starting the charm bag for my mom. Except that I need fleece for the lining.

 Happy Stitching,

 Anna
